There are a couple of reasons why your account may be suspended:
- If you have had up to five sequential failed attempts funding with your Credit/Debit card, your account and card(s) on the account will automatically be put into a suspended state. This is a security feature that has been built into the Lowe’s PreLoad application and was done so to protect our customer’s accounts against fraudulent activity.
- If you have too many failed attempts when inputting your username and password, your account will be temporarily locked. You will have to wait approximately one hour to be able to try signing in to your account again.
There are a few reasons why your card may be suspended:
- The administrator on your account may have suspended your card on their end. If you are an employee on the account, please reach out to your Employer/Admin to see if they have actioned the suspension on your card.
- Your card has gone into a 'potential fraud' status. Potential fraud status occurs when unusual transaction activity is recognized on your card and will automatically place your card into a suspended state. If this is the case, you will have verify that the recent transactions made on your card were authorized transactions.
